The Palm Beach International Boat Show will be shown online on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
The 35th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show, considered one of the top five in the county, will soon be underway, so to speak, in an easy-to-navigate virtual rendition that will be up and running on Thursday.
Because of the Coronavirus, the actual show scheduled this past March was canceled by the show owner, the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, Inc. and the producers, Informa Markets, for the safety and well being of staff, exhibitors, partners, attendees and members.
But now, nautical-minded buyers stuck at home and yearning for the open waters, be they on the lookout for a 300-foot yacht, a stand-up paddle board, or anything floatable in between, can use this new virtual venue to shop hundreds of boats and the latest in accessories and marine gear featured by more than 450 exhibitors, worth a grand total of $1.2 billion.
“…With over 450 exhibitors and 800 boats, we are working hard to ensure the show is easily searchable and delivers the ultimate virtual boat show experience,” says Andrew Dole, president of Informa Markets’ US Boat Shows, which organizes the Palm Beach show.
The free virtual boat show will be as similar to the live event as possible. The majority of the content and products will be open for everyone to view; however, some exclusive products or brands might require a vetting process before allowing access.
